Meet Jenny the owner

"My qualifications include: NNEB CACHE diploma, HNC in Early Childhood Studies, Designated officer certificate, Paediatric first aid, Level 2 in food and hygene, Level 5 in leadership and management and currently working towards completing BA (Hons) in Early childhood studies.

I opened up Little Scamps in July 2012. My mission is to transform childcare in Lisburn and make it more affordable for working families whilst still providing a high standard and quality of care.

I love working with the children and their families and making a mark on their crucial early experiences whilst building great childhood memories".

"My qualifications include BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, Designated officer certificate, Paediatric first aid, Managing epilepsy, Level 2 in food and hygiene and Therapeutic crisis intervention.

I love my job because it's a joy to watch the children progress and I strive to help them develop to their full potential. It's never a chore when I see the children's excited faces upon arriving to the nursery. I am comitted to working collaboratively with my colleagues, children and their families to create a positive, nurturing and stimulating environment"

"My qualifications include: CCEA diploma level 3 in childcare, Paediatric first aid, Designated officer certificate and Level 2 in food and hygiene.

I love working with children of all different ages and working at Little Scamps let's me do this. I enjoy helping them progress through their early stages of development. We all work as a team and it's a great place to work".

"My qualifications include: child protection certificate, paediatric first aid, level 2 in food and hygiene and CCEA diploma level 3 in childcare.

As a mother of 2 children, I love working with children and creating a fun and exciting environment for them to learn and grow".

"My qualifications include: QCF level 3 in early years, Paediatric first aid, Child protection certificate and Level 2 in food and hygiene certificate.

I enjoy working with children and really love my job. It's wonderful watching the children learn and grow and hearing that they enjoy coming to Little Scamps makes my job all the worthwhile. I always wanted to work with children so this is a dream come true".

After working 17 years in the health service and raising two boys, I decided to retrain and work in a career that I knew I would enjoy and thrive in. It was the best decision I ever made and I love seeing the children progress and grow whilst being part of their childhood experiences".
